This project really means a lot to me because it was something really personal about myself and countless of other gay men. as members of the LGBTQ+ community, we all have our own baggage and things we want to see change in the coming years. I collected over 40 responses to the question “what do you want as a gay man?”. I wanted to portray their wants and their vulnerability while simultaneously being vulnerable myself and making these self portraits. I want to thank all of the wonderful and beautiful people who took part in this project and helped me complete one of my favorite pieces to this day. This is why i love being an artist

Slipping Through My Fingers is a collection of self portraits that are emulating the feeling of growth and change. Being able to capture this bitter sweet feeling with my art is truly so amazing.
